A New Wholistic Model to Education For the Entire Refugee Family
REDA Education Center is a multi-function facility that includes English Language Lab that helps refugees improve their English conversations as well as providing vocational English for professional career, a Tutoring Center (Homework Club) where refugees students get help on their school homework, and a classroom for Workshops where families get essential and helpful information on their integration into the society at large.
ENGLISH LANGUAGE LAB
The English Language Lab is
designed to provide refugee clients
ages 16 and up a comprehensive
practice of conversations in English.
The Practice will be offered by a
teacher-led custom curriculum
through two different types of
platforms. The first is providing
general conversations of Situational
English curricula, these are
designed to help the learners
practice vocabulary and common
sentences used for specific
situations such as going to a Barber
shop, a Grocery store, etc. The
second is providing conversations
of Vocational English, which allows
the learners to choose from 96
different Vocational English
curricula which are designed to help
the learners to practice vocabulary
and common sentences used for
specific careers such as Nursing, IT,
etc.
The REDA Tutoring Center (Homework Club)
The REDA Tutoring Center is designed
to help Middle & High school students
with their homework assignments. The
help will be provided through
professional tutoring teacher with
assistance from volunteering College
and University students. The
volunteers are also acting as “Mentors”
to the refugee students through
educating them about the importance
of staying in school then helping them
explore the various academic paths
that would prepare them achieve their
future career dream.
It will also provide lectures &
workshops for women, men, and youth
on variety of topics that would help
their integration into society.
