YOUTH CENTER

About The Youth Center

The REDA Youth Center is designed to be a fun and entertaining safe space for refugee youth where they can socialize, meet like-minded individuals, and engage in safe activities and fun games. The REDA Youth Center is a “Reward” for Middle & High schoolers for finishing their school homework at the Tutoring Center and for practicing conversational English at the English Language Lab. It is also an incentive to encourage refugee students to attend the Education Center programs and benefit from them. More importantly, the REDA Youth Center is designed to develop leadership skills and provide academic and career mentorships for all refugee youth through a curriculum designed by professional educators.
The REDA Educational workshops for adults and youth provides needed training and education to mothers, fathers, and teens on topics that help them integrate with their new life in the US. Examples of workshop topics are: How to raise your children in the US, where to find vocational training to learn marketable skills, and how to apply to colleges and scholarships, etc.
